Welcome to the Nominating Committee!
The Nominating Committee is responsible for developing a slate of nominees for LLI/NOVA Board and Officer positions. The LLI/NOVA President appoints the Chairperson who forms the Nominating Committee; the Committee consists of two additional Board members and two non-Board members. The Committee usually begins meeting in October to vet candidates to present to the Board in April. Meeting times and places are determined by the Committee, as needed.

Meetings normally begin in October. Committee members will be notified of meeting times/places by the Committee Chairperson. Any changes to the normal date/times will be noted in the Announcements area above and in the LLI/NOVA Newsletter.

Cancellation Policy
The Nominating Committee normally follows the LLI/NOVA inclement weather cancellation policy (see button at right), unless members are notified otherwise by the Chairperson.
