Welcome to the Curriculum Committee!
The Curriculum Committee’s task is to produce the course catalog. We accomplish this by obtaining a variety of presenters featuring a wide field of subjects, including history, technology, science, religion, philosophy, music, art, poetry, finance, etc., that will be of interest to our LLI/NOVA members. The Committee consists of between 12 and 15 members and produces course catalogs for three separate semesters: Winter/Spring, Summer, and Fall. Each semester is preceded by a series of three Committee planning sessions where we discuss and approve our ideas. A sub-group of the Committee, consisting of typing, formatting and editing functions, prepares the catalog and arranges for printing. The planning meetings usually takes place in January/February, May/June, and September/October.

Meetings normally take place in January/February, May/June, and September/October. Committee members will be notified of meeting times/places by the Committee Chairperson. Any change to the normal dates/times will be noted in the Announcements area above and in the LLI/NOVA Newsletter.
Usual Meeting Location
We normally meet at the Braddock District Government Center (Kings Park Library), Braddock Hall Meeting Room, 9002 Burke Lake Road, Burke.
Cancellation Policy
The Curriculum Committee normally follows the LLI/NOVA inclement weather cancellation policy (see button at right), unless members are notified otherwise by the Chairperson.
