Mission Statement

Affiliated with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), the Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia (LLI/NOVA) is a non-profit, member-run organization dedicated to providing continuing educational and cultural opportunities to individuals of all backgrounds and income levels who are 50 years of age or older.  LLI/NOVA is especially attractive to older adults who have retired or semi-retired and are interested in pursuing intellectual enrichment and enjoying social interaction with their fellow members.  The organization draws on resources from its members, as well as college professors and members of the local community to provide classes and monthly speakers that cover a wide variety of topics.
