LLI/NOVA is now offering Fall 2024 classes.

Registration for Fall 2024 is open.

For online classes (Zoom), registered members will receive an email notification about a week prior to the class and again a couple of days prior to the class providing information on how to join the class.  If the class is a multi-session class, retain the Zoom information for the subsequent classes. You will only receive the reminder for the first session. You will also be sent reminders for in-person classes. Click the links below for the list of classes and how to join an online Zoom class.

Fall 2024 Class Updates

  • 24FA06 – All sessions of Folk Dance (English Country Dance) have been CANCELED.
  • 24FA10 – The Science of Your Life – Session 2 will now be held on Tuesday, October 8, 1:30pm, in NOVA CN Building, Room 231.
  • 24FA14 – CHATS – Connecting Humans and Telling Stories on Wednesday, October 9, 1:30pm, Location has been assigned to NOVA CN Building, Room 124.
  • 24FA15 – Park Ranger Grab Bag – Part 2, scheduled for October 2, has been CANCELED,
  • 24FA18 – A Consequential Presidency: Harry Truman and the 1948 Election on Wednesday, October 9 has been RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, October 23, 10:00am in NOVA CS Building, Room 242.
  • 24FA20 – Pumpkin: Not Just for Halloween has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA22 – Diabetes: When Sugar’s Not So Sweet has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA24 – A Consequential Presidency: Harry Truman and the Korean War on Wednesday, October 16 at 10:00am, New Location has been assigned to NOVA CS Building, Room 242.
  • 24FA26 – Connecting Through Conversation: Small Group Communication for Seniors has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA28 – First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln has been RESCHEDULED to Friday, November 8, 10:00am.
  • 24FA33 – Behind the Headstones: Amazing Stories of Heroes at Arlington National Cemetery will now be held on Monday, November 18, 10:00am, in NOVA CA Building, Room 302.
  • 24FA35 – Underwater Wonders By Request – on Wednesday, October 30 at 10:00am, New Location has been assigned to NOVA CS Building, Room 136.
  • 24FA38 – Introduction to Public Speaking has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA45 – The Indianapolis 500: History, Traditions, and the Greatest Spectacle in Racing scheduled for November 18 has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA49 – All sessions of Let’s Share Poetry have been CANCELED.
  • 24FA50 – Conclusion of the Panama Canal Series has been CANCELED and will NOT meet Monday, September 16 at 10:00am at Greenspring Village – Village Square Theater.
  • 24FA51 – Mutiny on the Bounty: Captain Bligh has been CANCELED.
  • 24FA52 – The Two Pearl Harbors of World War II has been CANCELED.
