The Foodies & Friends SIG meets monthly.  If you have ever been curious about what our group does, please contact one of the SIG coordinators for information so you may join us at one of our monthly outings, which can run the gamut from a wine pairing lunch, a weekend brunch, ethnic cuisine explorations, an afternoon tea, or just good food.  We encourage members to think outside the box because none of us has the corner on food opportunities in the Washington area. Each month a member volunteers to plan and manage the event. The Foodies & Friends SIG has been very active throughout the years, and we think you’ll find it a lot of fun!

Please join Foodies & Friends for lunch at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington. Busboys and Poets is a restaurant, bar, bookstore, book club, and community gathering place. It is a cultural hub for artists, activists, writers, thinkers, and dreamers. In addition to its regular, creative menu, the restaurant offers a wide array of vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan dishes. There is metered street parking and garage parking (free, but check signs on each level). The restaurant is accessible and separate checks will be provided.
