25th Anniversary Book

Twenty-five years ago, 38 individuals got together to form what we now know as the Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia – LLI/NOVA. LLI has been going strong ever since, and in fact, 30 percent of LLI’ers have been members for 10 years or more. That says something about our organization!

Although the pandemic squelched the opportunity for LLI members to get together in person in May to celebrate our anniversary, we will have an opportunity to do so in December—so stay tuned!

In the meantime, we are acknowledging our achievements. Volunteers have documented all that LLI/NOVA has accomplished these past 25 years in a book that features lots of photos, both in color and black and white, articles about members and officers, the various special interest groups that have come and gone (and perhaps may be revived?), tales told of LLI experiences on trips, both short and long, and other items of interest.

We have also ordered a few extra printed copies, so if you would still like a printed copy, contact our Administrator at admin@llinova.org . The cost is $5.00 per copy and may be paid by check. We will make individual arrangements for you to pick up the book.
