Join the Encore Learning Summer Camp provided by LLI/NOA

Because your brain doesn’t take a summer vacation!

Use these instructions to register for the Encore Learning Summer Camp. The tuition fee is $55, payable by credit card. This will enable you to register for LLI/NOVA classes offered during LLI/NOVA’s summer session (June 1 to August 31). The classes are listed in the LLI/NOVA summer class catalog available on the LLI/NOVA website (see the link on the homepage). As a Summer Camper, you may also participate in our Special Interest Group (SIG) activities, but to do so you must contact the SIG coordinator and negotiate your participation. Many of our SIGs are not active in July and August. Finally, you may also participate in any Cultural Excursion or Visual and Performing Arts events during the period June 1 to August 31, but you will do so as a “non-member/guest.”

When you register for the Summer Camp, you will, in addition to making the $55 tuition payment, need to provide your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. We do not share this information with anyone. You should wear your EL name tag during our in-person classes. You may also wish to review our Covid-19 policy regarding vaccination and mask wearing (see the link in the News Alerts area of the homepage).

Step One – Register and Pay the Summer Camp Tuition Online

  1. Go to the Encore Learning Summer Camp Registration Event.  Click HERE .
  2. Scroll down and click on the Register Now! button. 
  3. Enter the following contact information:
    • Name (First name Last name)
    • Mailing Address (2 lines – street and city, state & zip)
    • Phone (home or cell – your choice)
    • Email address
  4. Enter your credit card information in the boxes. We do not retain this information.
  5. Click on the blue Register! button.
  6. You will see an onscreen notice that you have registered for the Encore Learning Summer Camp, and you will also receive an email notification. [Note:  The Registration Event has an artificial date of August 28, 2022.  Ignore this date.]

Step Two – Obtain a Temporary Password for Your Account

  1. Go to the LLI/NOVA homepage.  Click HERE .
  2. Above the green menu bar, click on the login button.
  3. Click the Request Password button.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Click the blue Request Password button.

The system will promptly send a temporary password to your email address.  Note: If this system generated email (from LLI/NOVA admin@llinova.org via membershipworks.org) does not arrive promptly, check you “spam” folder.  If you have a Gmail account, check your “Promotions” category.

Step Three – Create a New Password for Your Account

  1. Return to the LLI/NOVA homepage.  Click HERE
  2. Above the green menu bar, click on the login button.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Enter the temporary password that the system provided to you.
  5. Click the blue Sign In button.
  6. This will put you on the About page of your Account
    • Confirm that your contact entries are correct and update any that require changes.
    • Scroll down to the entry that says Password.  Click the Change entry.  Enter a new password in the text box (minimum length is 6 characters).
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the blue Save & Continue button.  You have now updated your password. Use your email address and this password for future sign ins.

If you forget your password, repeat the Step Two and Three above to have the system send you a new temporary password and then change it.

Step Four – Register for a Class

Review the Summer Class Catalog to identify classes of interest. You may wish to use the Planning Worksheet to record your interest. A link to the Planning Worksheet is available on the homepage in the Quick Connect box. Once you have identified classes follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the LLI/NOVA homepage.  Click HERE .
  2. On the green menu bar, click on Classes and Events.
  3. On the drop-down list, click on Class & Event Calendar.
  4. Scroll down through the calendar to the class of interest and click on it.
  5. Scroll down and click on the blue Register Now! button.
  6. Click the Sign In button.  Enter your email address and password and click the blue Sign In button.
  7. Select a quantity of 1 for the “class ticket” that says Encore Learning Summer Camp [Note:  The system will display your name and email address.]
  8. Click the blue Register! button.
  9. You will see an onscreen notice that you have registered for the class, and you will also receive an email registration confirmation notification.  This email notification will include an ical.ics file that you may be able to use to update your personal electronic calendar.
  10. You can return to the event calendar and register for another class.  [Note:  The system will recognize that you are already signed in, so you will not have to repeat step 6 above.]
  11. Prior to the class, you will receive two email reminders.  One will be sent approximately one week prior to the class, and the second usually one day prior.  If the class is an online zoom class, these reminder emails will include the zoom link/URL.
  12. If you will be unable to attend a class for which you registered, please contact the class coordinator listed in the class calendar description.
  13. Wear your EL member nametag to in-person classes and follow our Covid-19 guidance.
